Job Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years cooking experience
  • culinary school certificate or equivalent experience
  • ability to stand, walk, stoop, push, or pull during shifts
  • capable of lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs for up to 10 minutes
  • knowledge of local food codes and sanitation standards
  • good personal hygiene
  • strong hand-eye coordination for working with knives and hot cooking equipment

Job Qualifications

  • Culinary school certificate or equivalent experience

Job Duties

  • Supporting the culinary team during events by assisting with preparation, execution, service, and cleanup
  • utilizing basic knife skills to sauté, prep, grill, and carve various foods
  • monitoring food inventory and assisting with supply orders as needed
  • preparing and cooking a variety of dishes according to detailed recipes and event specifications
  • maintaining proper food handling, sanitation, and safety standards consistently
  • collaborating with the kitchen team during large events to ensure timely and efficient food service
  • preparing breakfast, lunch, dinner buffets, and plated meals
  • distributing food to banquet servers for guest service
  • utilizing equipment such as grills, ovens, and fryers for food preparation
