The seasonal Cook position at Delaware North Sportservice located at Lambeau Field provides a unique opportunity to be a part of a vibrant culinary team in an exciting sports venue. This role is integral to ensuring high-quality food preparation and excellent guest service during sporting events and special functions. The Cook will be responsible for preparing menu items to precise specifications, adhering to quality and portion control standards, and maintaining food safety protocols. The role demands a commitment to cleanliness, efficiency, and collaboration with front-of-house staff to create outstanding guest experiences. This is a seasonal, hourly-paid position offering compensation at $15.00 per hour. In this role, the Cook will engage in preparing food to order, ensuring that meals meet the company’s high standards for flavor and presentation. The position requires manual dexterity, the ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment, and the physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift heavy items. Candidates should have at least a year of prior experience in a back-of-house food service role, with preference given to those with culinary program participation. The work schedule includes day, evening, holiday, weekend, and event shifts, with overtime available as needed. Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 16 years old
  • at least 1 year of previous experience in a back-of-the-house food-service position is required
  • ability to read and comprehend prep sheets and recipes
  • basic math skills
  • ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
  • ability to stand and walk for entire shifts
  • manual dexterity sufficient to chop, mix, blend, whip various foods and liquids
  • ability to work in hot, damp, and noisy kitchen environments

Job Qualifications

  • At least 1 year of previous experience in a back-of-the-house food-service position
  • participation in a culinary program is preferred
  • ability to read and comprehend prep sheets and recipes
  • basic math skills including the ability to understand, calculate and follow recipe measurements and proportions
  • strong teamwork and communication skills
  • ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Job Duties

  • Prepare food to specifications before and during unit operations
  • comply with all portion sizes, quality standards, department rules, policies, and procedures
  • ensure proper food temperatures are maintained and food is stored correctly
  • ensure freshness and quality of all menu items and packages all products to proper specifications
  • perform opening, closing, and side work duties and end-of-day inventory, and other duties in accordance with company checklists and procedures
  • keep workstation, coolers, and equipment clean, organized, sanitized, and sufficiently stocked
  • use waste control guidelines and record all waste on the spoilage sheet
