This full-time position is located at the Scripps Memorial campus in La Jolla and requires availability to work varied shifts and schedules, including weekends. As a Cook on the Food Service team, you will play a vital role in delivering quality food services that support the patient care experience and the overall operational success of the medical center. The team is dedicated to coordinating and preparing a high volume of meals for patients, cafeteria operations, and special events such as catering. You will be responsible for following stringent food safety and sanitation procedures, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and contributing to menu development and modification to meet diverse dietary needs. Additionally, the role requires managing meal assembly, portion control, and inventory to maintain efficiency and minimize waste.
