Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years cooking experience preferred
- Food Handlers Card - Washington required
- Knowledge of proper food handling and sanitation
- Ability to lift frequent weights up to 22 lbs and occasional up to 50 lbs
- Ability to work in a noisy environment and near heated surfaces
- Effective communication skills
- Availability to work variable hours
- Ability to work well with others
- Proficiency in MS Office applications (where applicable)
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a cook preferred
- Experience in a hospital or full-service kitchen preferred
- Combination of formal culinary training and experience considered
- Food Handlers Card - Washington required
- Professional Culinary Institute Certificate preferred
- Knowledge and understanding of proper food handling and sanitation
- Ability to work well with others
- Proficient in MS Office applications (where applicable)
Job Duties
- Accurately follow and prepare recipes
- Prepare hot and cold food according to the recipe and production standards
- Maintain proper food handling techniques
- Properly clean and sanitize workstation according to safety and sanitation guidelines
- Organize, calculate, and produce food production
- Maintain appropriate records according to regulatory and departmental standards
- Perform other duties as assigned
