Job Requirements
- High school diploma, GED, or foreign equivalent
- Two years of relevant professional cook experience in lieu of diploma
- Two years of experience in a similar role
- Ability to apply elementary math functions
- Ability to work well under time constraints
- Ability to follow detailed written or oral instructions
- Clear and distinct verbal communication skills

- Ability to apply elementary math functions
- Ability to work well under time constraints
- Ability to apply common-sense understanding to carry out detailed, easy-to-follow instructions
- Ability to speak clearly and distinctly with appropriate pauses, emphasis, and correct pronunciation
- ServSafe Certificate preferred
Job Duties
- Prepare all meals for patient services, the café, and catering
- Follow all applicable recipes or procedures when cooking
- Monitor food temperature, storage, rotation, and workstation sanitation
- Ensure meals are prepared according to hospital safety standards
- Perform other duties related to food service or safety as assigned
