Job Requirements

  • Minimum 3-5 years of culinary experience in fine dining, upscale casual, or luxury hospitality environments
  • demonstrated expertise in advanced culinary techniques, sauce preparation, and sophisticated food presentation
  • experience with high-volume, quality-focused kitchen operations
  • knowledge of premium ingredients and proper handling and storage techniques

Job Duties

  • Greet guests happily upon arrival and throughout their stay with a smile
  • use guests' names whenever possible to ensure they feel properly welcomed
  • work together to contribute to great guest satisfaction scores
  • handle challenging guest situations with hospitality and urgency
  • maintain strong knowledge of hotel facilities and amenities
  • support all groups and events at the hotel
  • answer all incoming calls with friendly service using approved greeting
  • keep all workspaces clean and well-organized
  • pitch in to clean guest rooms and public spaces as needed
  • greet guests with a smile and name while cleaning
  • execute complex dishes and preparations according to fine dining standards and brand guidelines
  • demonstrate mastery of advanced cooking methods including sauce preparation and plating
  • contribute to menu development and seasonal offerings
  • ensure every dish meets standards for taste, presentation, and temperature
  • maintain current food safety certification and adhere to HACCP protocols
  • maintain cleanliness exceeding health regulations
  • complete comprehensive prep work and station setup
  • assist in inventory management, storage, and portion control
  • demonstrate proficiency with kitchen equipment and maintain tools
