Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of two years cooking experience in a high volume environment
  • Professional knowledge of cooking ingredients and procedures
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Physical stamina to stand for extended periods
  • Availability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays

Job Qualifications

  • Refined verbal communication skills
  • Two years of previous line experience preferred
  • Culinary degree or related hotel experience is preferred
  • Able to perform all basic cooking skills
  • Able to work single station in the kitchen
  • True desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast paced environment
  • Ability to stand for long periods
  • Flexible schedule including weekends and holidays

Job Duties

  • Prepare and cook food items according to recipes and quality standards
  • Ensure kitchen cleanliness and organization
  • Assist in banquet and restaurant food production
  • Manage cold kitchen and Garde Manger tasks
  • Maintain inventory and proper storage of ingredients
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to deliver timely meals
  • Follow health and safety regulations in food handling
