Job Description

Panda Restaurant Group, Inc. is a renowned family-owned American Chinese restaurant concept that was founded in 1983 in Glendale, California. Since its inception, it has grown to become the largest American Chinese restaurant chain in the United States, with close to 2,800 locations globally. The company is dedicated to delivering exceptional Asian dining experiences by maintaining high standards of food quality, service excellence, and a welcoming ambiance in each of its restaurants. Panda Restaurant Group emphasizes family values, community involvement, and fostering an environment where both employees and customers feel appreciated and respected. Being a substantial player in the fast-casual dining sector, Panda continuously strives to inspire and support the growth and development of its workforce while simultaneously enhancing guest experience across its numerous locations.

The role of a Panda Shift Leader is pivotal within the restaurant team. Shift Leaders are responsible for bringing the company’s mission to life during their shifts by supporting restaurant management in delivering food made with passion, service offered with heart, and an inviting ambiance filled with pride. This leadership role provides a central position within a fast-paced and growth-oriented environment where employees can develop a wide range of valuable skills. As a Panda Shift Leader, you will be tasked with managing store operations, leading team members, handling customer service duties, and actively participating in food preparation. This opportunity enables you to gain hands-on experience in cooking and preparing popular Panda menu items while also building management and leadership attributes. Working as a Shift Leader at Panda means being part of a team where employee contributions are valued as key ingredients to the business success. The role offers a dynamic work setting that demands the ability to multitask, adapt to changing priorities, and manage difficult situations with professionalism. It’s an excellent position for individuals looking to enhance their operational and leadership skills in the restaurant industry while working in an environment that values diversity, inclusion, and mutual respect. Panda Restaurant Group is an Equal Opportunity Employer committed to fostering an inclusive workplace that supports and accommodates all employees, including those with disabilities. The company complies with all federal, state, and local laws related to workplace accommodation and encourages applicants requiring accommodations to communicate their needs.
