The Panda Shift Leader role offers a unique opportunity for individuals to step into a leadership position within this thriving and fast-paced restaurant environment. As a Shift Leader, you will be instrumental in bringing Panda’s mission to life in each restaurant location. This role involves supporting the management team and ensuring that the dining experience reflects Panda’s commitment to serving food with passion, providing service with heart, and creating an ambiance filled with pride. Shift Leaders play a crucial role in maintaining operational efficiency during their shifts while fostering a friendly and welcoming environment for both guests and team members.
In this role, you will gain hands-on experience in various facets of restaurant operations including food preparation, team management, and customer service. The position is designed to help develop leadership skills through managing store operations during shifts, guiding team members, and contributing to team success. Shift Leaders support day-to-day activities by ensuring that all food safety standards are met, assisting with cooking Panda favorites, and maintaining cleanliness and organization in the kitchen and dining areas. Job Requirements
- Some high school education
- Prefer some operations experience
- Food safety knowledge and certification
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to stand for up to four hours
- Ability to reach across counters
- Ability to work in hot, noisy environments
- Effective verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage conflicts and dynamic environments
