The current opportunity is for a Culinary Team Member, a critical role responsible for the safe, proper, and efficient preparation of food in various kitchen stations including grilling, frying, roasting, sautéing, and pantry. This role demands versatility and proficiency across multiple cooking methods, with a focus on maintaining high standards of food presentation and hygiene in compliance with health regulations, specifically those described in the Michigan Health Code. The Culinary Team Member is accountable for the operational efficiency of assigned kitchen areas, requiring keen attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to react promptly and accurately to food orders.
This role challenges individuals to excel in a collaborative kitchen environment, contributing to setup, breakdown, and sanitation processes while ensuring that all food prep and service areas are clean, organized, and closed down properly after shifts. Communication skills in English, basic math competencies, and adherence to company policies are essential. The role also requires the ability to establish effective working relationships with teammates to create a harmonious and productive workplace.

Job Duties
- React to food orders in an efficient and proper manner ensuring presentations and procedures are being followed
- Ability to work the grill deep fryer roasting sauté prep and pantry stations proficiently
- Estimate and requisition supplies from the receiving areas for service
- Ability to set up and break down all food stations in the kitchens
- Season food add garnish sauce or vegetables on the order as determined by the chef
- Perform job combinations as necessary in the kitchen
- Maintain a clean kitchen and good working order throughout the shift
- Ensure that the kitchen is closed down properly after each shift
- Understand and comply with all company and departmental rules and regulations policies and procedures
- Skill in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with staff
- Ability to read write and communicate verbally in English
- Ability to perform basic math
