As a Cook III, you will be responsible for the preparation of hot and cold foods that align with the hotel’s rigorous quality standards. The position demands extensive knowledge of various food products, culinary techniques, and sanitation practices to consistently produce dishes that delight guests. Timeliness and attention to detail are critical skills necessary to fulfill guest orders efficiently while maintaining a professional and supportive team environment. Job Requirements

  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
  • Ability to collaborate in a team environment
  • Ability to grasp, hold, sit, walk, perform repetitive motions, and bend over
  • Ability to stand and exercise mobility for extended periods during scheduled shifts
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly and for extended periods during shifts
  • Ability to push and pull food serving equipment and carts weighing up to 200 pounds on a semi-regular basis
  • Able to work in controlled indoor environments as well as extreme temperatures such as freezers (-10°F) and kitchens (+110°F)

Job Qualifications

  • Passion for culinary arts and storytelling with food

  • Trustworthiness and integrity
  • Minimum one year of experience in a standalone restaurant or hotel environment preferred
  • Experience in luxury hotel environments is a plus

Job Duties

  • Responsible for preparation of hot and cold foods that meet our hotel’s high standards
  • Maintain in depth knowledge of food products as well as sanitation standards and culinary techniques to execute dishes at the highest level, following kitchen standards
  • Ability to fulfill guest orders in a timely manner with skillful attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a collaborative environment all while maintaining professionalism
  • Deliver on guests’ expectations and have the desire to create WOW moments
  • Perform additional duties as assigned that may be outside of the normal scope of duties based on business needs
