The available position is a Pastry Cook role, essential to the culinary team in maintaining and producing high-quality food items in the pastry department. Reporting directly to the Pastry Chef and Sous Chef, the Pastry Cook is responsible for preparing volume food items following established recipes and standards to guarantee consistency and quality. This role involves strict adherence to portion control and cost management procedures while ensuring proper product storage and rotation to meet food safety standards. The Pastry Cook must maintain cleanliness and sanitation of all equipment and work areas, complying with health department regulations at all times. This position requires flexibility in scheduling to meet the dynamic needs of the hotel, including working nights, weekends, and holidays. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong organizational skills, excellent guest service abilities, and the capability to communicate effectively in English. Experience working in a high-volume hotel or restaurant kitchen is preferred along with a thorough understanding of food service sanitation standards. Job Requirements

Job Duties
- prepare all volume food items according to standard recipes and specifications

- practice inventory controls including preparation and pick up of items from storeroom

- report promptly all problems or unusual matters to supervisors
- attend all relevant hotel meetings and training sessions
