Job Requirements

  • 1-3 years of cooking experience in a high-volume hotel or restaurant
  • thorough understanding of food sanitation standards
  • strong organizational skills
  • excellent guest service skills
  • ability to lift up to 50 lbs
  • effective verbal communication skills in English
  • ability to work flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays

Job Qualifications

  • 1-3 cooking experience in a high-volume hotel or freestanding restaurant preferred
  • thorough knowledge and understanding of food service sanitation standards
  • strong organizational skills
  • excellent guest service skills
  • ability to communicate effectively in English verbally with team members, leaders and guests

Job Duties

  • prepare all volume food items according to standard recipes and specifications
  • adhere to control procedures for cost and quality
  • check and control proper storage and rotation of product
  • practice inventory controls including preparation and pick up of items from storeroom
  • maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas and equipment
  • report promptly all problems or unusual matters to supervisors
  • attend all relevant hotel meetings and training sessions
