Job Requirements
- 1-3 years of cooking experience in a high-volume hotel or restaurant
- thorough understanding of food sanitation standards
- strong organizational skills
- excellent guest service skills
- ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- effective verbal communication skills in English
- ability to work flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays
Job Qualifications
- 1-3 cooking experience in a high-volume hotel or freestanding restaurant preferred
- thorough knowledge and understanding of food service sanitation standards
- strong organizational skills
- excellent guest service skills
- ability to communicate effectively in English verbally with team members, leaders and guests
Job Duties
- prepare all volume food items according to standard recipes and specifications
- adhere to control procedures for cost and quality
- check and control proper storage and rotation of product
- practice inventory controls including preparation and pick up of items from storeroom
- maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas and equipment
- report promptly all problems or unusual matters to supervisors
- attend all relevant hotel meetings and training sessions
