As a Cook III at Hilton, you will play a critical role in crafting memorable dining experiences for guests by preparing, maintaining, and monitoring the quality control for hot food items. Your responsibilities will include handling diverse ingredients such as meat, fish, fowl, sauces, stocks, and seasonings, all prepared with an unwavering focus on quality and adherence to designated recipes. You will ensure guest orders are prepared efficiently, maintaining the highest culinary standards while complying with all sanitation and food safety regulations. A key aspect of your role is to maintain the cleanliness of the kitchen and food preparation areas while practicing proper food handling and storage procedures. Visual inspection of all food outputs to guarantee appealing presentation and cleanliness is also part of your daily duties.

Job Requirements

  • minimum of 3 years professional experience as a cook or line cook
  • banquet and high-volume prep and cooking experience is a plus
  • hotel experience preferred

Job Duties

  • prepare maintain and monitor quality control for hot food items including but not limited to meat fish fowl sauces stocks and seasonings
  • prepare food items according to designated recipes and quality standards
  • prepare guest orders in a friendly timely and efficient manner
  • maintain cleanliness and comply with food sanitation standards at all times
  • visually inspect all food sent from the kitchen and ensure plates are clean and appetizing
  • practice correct food handling and food storage procedures according to federal state local and company regulations
