Job Description

Hilton is a renowned global hospitality company known for its unwavering commitment to providing exceptional guest experiences and fostering a supportive, award-winning workplace culture for its team members. With a history that spans welcoming over 3 billion guests worldwide, Hilton stands as a leader in the hospitality industry, operating a diverse portfolio of world-class hotel brands that set the standard for travel and lodging. The company’s foundational vision—to fill the earth with the light and warmth of hospitality—drives every aspect of its operations, from guest services to employee engagement. Hilton’s reputation for excellence is reinforced by repeated recognition on the World’s Best Workplaces list by Great Place to Work and Fortune, reflecting its dedication not only to guests but also to the well-being and development of its employees.

The role of Cook III at Hilton embodies the heart of hospitality by delivering memorable culinary experiences that enhance every guest's stay. This position transcends the basic tasks of food preparation, emphasizing the importance of warmth, care, and precision in every dish served. As a Cook III, you will prepare high-quality menu items following designated recipes and maintaining rigorous quality standards that align with Hilton’s commitment to excellence. This includes managing guest orders efficiently to ensure a positive dining experience, executing complex recipes, overseeing kitchen stations, and performing quality control and inventory management. Your responsibilities will also involve inspecting and finalizing dishes before they are served, ensuring that every plate meets Hilton’s high standards for taste, presentation, and safety.

Maintaining a clean and organized workspace is critical in this role, as is adhering to all food handling, storage, and safety protocols to guarantee the well-being of guests and team members alike. Coordination and communication are essential, as the Cook III will direct other cooks during shifts, assist with inventory checks and ordering, and participate in shift briefings and special culinary features. Compliance with regulatory standards concerning health, safety, sanitation, and alcohol awareness is mandatory, ensuring the highest levels of hospitality and trust.

Hilton’s culture is built on core values such as integrity, leadership, teamwork, ownership, and a sense of urgency that influences every moment in the workplace. Beyond the immediate role, team members benefit from an extensive package of perks designed to support their overall well-being and future. These include incredible travel perks with deeply discounted rates at Hilton properties, stock purchase programs, paid parental leave, personalized caregiving support, crisis assistance, mental health resources through employee assistance programs, generous paid time off, various health and welfare benefits, and retirement plans aimed at securing financial futures.

Joining Hilton means becoming part of a global family that values and nurtures its people, offering not just a job but a career path in an exceptional environment committed to making every stay and every workday meaningful and impactful. Whether you are starting out or advancing your career, Hilton provides the resources, support, and recognition to help you thrive in the dynamic hospitality industry.
