Job Requirements

  • At least seven years of related progressive culinary experience or culinary graduate with minimum two years of progressive experience in hotel or related field
  • Food Handlers Certification as required by state regulations

  • Food Handlers Certification as required by state regulations
  • Proven leadership and supervisory skills in a kitchen environment
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • Effective communication and team collaboration skills
  • Familiarity with food safety standards and compliance
  • Basic financial literacy for budget and cost control

Job Duties

  • Supervise food preparation to maintain high standards of quality and presentation across dining outlets
  • Lead and support kitchen staff to ensure smooth and efficient kitchen operations
  • Anticipate needs and resolve problems swiftly and effectively in high-pressure situations
  • Communicate clearly with team members and guests to foster a collaborative environment
  • Analyze financial data and apply basic arithmetic to support cost-effective kitchen management
  • Ensure strict compliance with food safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized kitchen
  • Monitor kitchen activities to prevent hazards and maintain a safe work environment
