Job Description

We are currently seeking a dedicated and skilled Cook to join our Food and Beverage & Culinary team. This full-time, non-management position offers an hourly wage of $26.00, reflecting our commitment to offering competitive compensation. The role involves preparing ingredients, cooking, and ensuring the quality and presentation standards of the food served to our guests. Responsibilities include portioning, chopping, washing, peeling, weighing, and mixing ingredients, as well as operating various kitchen appliances such as ovens, stoves, grills, microwaves, and fryers. The Cook will also be tasked with preparing cold foods, testing for proper cooking, and maintaining cleanliness and sanitization of the kitchen and related equipment.

This position demands a high degree of attention to detail to ensure all food preparation meets the resort's quality standards and safety procedures. The Cook must follow company policies diligently, including safety and sanitation protocols, and report any maintenance needs or unsafe conditions promptly. Collaboration and communication with team members are essential to support a positive work environment and achieve shared goals. Physical stamina is required as the role involves standing or walking for extended periods, bending, twisting, lifting objects up to 25 pounds, and maintaining a professional appearance and demeanor throughout the shift.

Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
  • At least 1 year of related work experience in food preparation
  • Ability to stand walk or sit for the duration of the shift
  • Ability to lift carry push or pull objects weighing up to 25 pounds without assistance
  • Willingness to follow safety and hygiene protocols
  • Ability to communicate clearly and professionally
  • No supervisory experience required

Job Duties

  • Operate ovens stoves grills microwaves and fryers
