We are currently inviting enthusiastic, authentic individuals to join our team as Food Preparation Associates at the EDITION Hotel located at 9040 W Sunset Blvd, West Hollywood, California. This is a full-time, non-management role that requires preparation and careful handling of food items in a fast-paced culinary environment. The position pays between 32 and 33 dollars per hour, catering to individuals with a passion for meticulous food preparation and teamwork.

In this role, associates are responsible for preparing ingredients including portioning, chopping, and storing fresh fruits and vegetables, adhering to recipes and quality standards to produce food that meets the high expectations of our guests. The associate operates various kitchen equipment such as ovens, stoves, grills, microwaves, and fryers, ensuring all food items are cooked correctly and presented attractively. They are also tasked with maintaining cleanliness and hygiene of the kitchen and workstations, complying with safety regulations, and supporting the team's overall goals.

This role demands attention to detail in measuring and mixing ingredients, monitoring food temperatures, testing readiness, and managing station set-up and breakdown. Associates must communicate professionally, maintain confidentiality, and exhibit a clean, professional appearance. Physical requirements include standing, walking, and performing tasks that involve reaching, bending, lifting, and moving objects weighing up to 25 pounds.   • ability to stand sit or walk for extended periods
  • ability to reach overhead and below knees including bending twisting pulling and stooping
  • ability to move lift carry push pull and place objects weighing up to 25 pounds without assistance

  • maintain confidentiality of proprietary information
