Job Requirements

  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent education or experience in related field
  • Ability to read, write, speak and comprehend English
  • Pass basic reading and math tests
  • Basic computer skills
  • ServSafe Food Manager Certification or comparable certification at time of hire or within six months of hire
  • Ability to work quickly and accurately
  • Basic food and beverage production skills

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent education or experience in related field
  • Ability to read, write, speak and comprehend English
  • Basic computer skills
  • Cooking experience preferred
  • ServSafe Food Manager Certification or comparable certification at time of hire or within six months
  • Ability to work quickly and accurately
  • Basic food and beverage production skills

Job Duties

  • Prepare high quality nutritious foods for patients and customers according to standardized recipes
  • Follow production schedules and meet all production deadlines
  • Work in an organized, neat manner while following safe food-handling requirements
  • Produce a larger volume of food and/or more complex dishes compared to Cook I
  • Develop at least one new recipe per calendar year
  • Prepare breakfast, lunch, and dinner entrees
  • Prepare food for catering and/or special events as needed
