Rooted in family values, the company is dedicated to long-term investments that support sustainable growth and development for the business and its workforce. With a commitment to enriching lives through memorable experiences, giving back to the community, and honoring God in its operations, Pacific Hospitality Group aims to create long-lasting value within the hospitality industry. The group emphasizes core principles such as integrity, compliance, customer focus, and continuous improvement, fostering a workplace environment where respect, humility, and fulfillment guide daily interactions and decision-making.

Olive & Hay celebrates fresh California ingredients paired with handcrafted cuisine and authentic hospitality. The restaurant thrives on creating memorable dining experiences by offering seasonal menus, meticulous food preparation, and exceptional service to its patrons. As part of this vibrant culinary team, the Cook II - Saute, Pizza & Grill (PM) position offers a fantastic full-time opportunity from 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM to develop and showcase cooking skills in a fast-paced, scratch kitchen environment.

This role suits a cook who has mastered fundamental culinary techniques and is eager to take on increased responsibility while continuing to refine their expertise. The successful candidate will operate primarily on the saute, pizza, and grill stations, preparing dishes that highlight precision, quality, and consistency. You will have the chance to work alongside experienced chefs who value teamwork and craftsmanship, ensuring every dish meets stringent presentation and taste standards. Cross-training across various kitchen stations, involvement in menu development, and preparation for future leadership roles are integral parts of this position's career growth path.

The Cook II role requires a passionate individual who thrives in a busy service environment, communicates effectively, and understands the importance of timing and organization. Dependability, a positive attitude, and a commitment to surpassing guest expectations with every plate are essential. If you enjoy working collaboratively, you will find Olive & Hay to be a supportive and rewarding workplace where continuous improvement and culinary artistry are highly valued.

The hourly wage for this position is $22.50, reflective of the skills and experience required. Physical demands include standing and walking for extended periods, lifting up to 50 pounds, and working safely around hot cooking surfaces and sharp tools.
