Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Successful completion of culinary training or certificate program preferred
- Two years of experience in hospitality or related field
- Ability to read write and understand English
- Ability to learn quickly
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to work as part of a team and build positive relationships
- Demonstrated proper use of equipment
- Knowledge of safe food handling practices
- Ability to follow infection control policies and procedures
- Ability to handle complaints professionally
- Ability to communicate effectively in a professional courteous manner
Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Deliver excellent customer service and communicate professionally and courteously with guests hospital staff and coworkers
- Prepare and serve food to guests according to department recipes and production sheets
- Exhibit mastery in at least one food service area such as grill room service catering or Café Soleil line
- Monitor and maintain proper food temperatures in assigned area
- Inspect food items for defects and report issues to supervisor
- Maintain sanitation levels complying with food code including labeling FIFO hand washing and glove use
- Follow safety procedures when handling kitchen equipment
- Complete side work including cleaning food prep and stocking as assigned at beginning and end of shifts
