Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 2 years culinary experience
  • Culinary degree or related hotel experience preferred
  • Ability to communicate in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficient English skills
  • Ability to perform basic cooking skills and use kitchen equipment
  • Strong desire to satisfy guest needs
  • Ability to stand for long periods
  • Ability to follow recipes accurately

Job Qualifications

  • Culinary degree or related hotel experience preferred
  • Minimum of 2 years of previous culinary experience
  • Ability to communicate effectively in a fast-paced kitchen environment
  • Proficient English language skills
  • Ability to perform basic cooking techniques and use kitchen equipment
  • Strong desire to meet guest needs and provide excellent service
  • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • Accurate recipe adherence

Job Duties

  • Prepare dishes at designated kitchen stations following Hyatt recipes and quality standards
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of assigned work areas
  • Collaborate with kitchen team to ensure timely food preparation
  • Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines
  • Use kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
  • Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors
  • Assist in training and supervising junior kitchen staff as needed
