As a Cook II, employees reduce food waste, prepare baked goods, and maintain high standards of hygiene and safety. The job includes following recipes, managing cooking stations such as grills, and potentially assisting management with daily oversight of key functions and staff. Job Duties
- Prepare, portion, cook and present a variety of hot and/or cold foods efficiently for different meal periods including breakfast, lunch, dinner and special events/catering
- Read and follow basic recipes and/or product instructions to prepare various foods
- Prepare food and serve customers ordering a la carte and/or operate a grill station
- Support management in daily supervision of key functions and employees as needed
- Attend work and report to scheduled shifts on time regularly
- Perform other tasks as assigned varying by account and business needs
