The role of Culinary Team Member involves the preparation of ingredients for cooking, including portioning, chopping, washing, peeling, weighing, measuring, and mixing ingredients. Team members prepare and cook food in strict adherence to established recipes, quality standards, and presentation guidelines while operating various kitchen equipment such as ovens, stoves, grills, microwaves, and fryers. They ensure the food is cooked thoroughly by testing it, monitoring food quality throughout preparation, and serving portions accurately. This position also involves maintaining cleanliness and hygiene by washing and disinfecting kitchen tools, surfaces, and equipment and ensuring the correct temperatures of both food and appliances are consistently checked.

Additionally, Culinary Team Members adhere to all company safety and security policies, report any maintenance needs or unsafe conditions, and participate in required safety training and certifications. A professional appearance, confidentiality of proprietary information, and protection of company assets are mandatory. Strong communication skills and the ability to foster a collaborative team environment support the shared goal of delivering an outstanding guest experience. Physical stamina is necessary as the role requires standing, walking, reaching, lifting, and moving objects weighing up to 25 pounds. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
  • at least 1 year of related work experience
  • no supervisory experience
  • ability to follow all company safety and security policies and procedures
  • ability to stand sit or walk for extended periods
  • ability to reach bend twist pull and stoop
  • ability to move lift carry push pull objects weighing up to 25 pounds without assistance
