This culinary role is a full-time, non-management position within the Food and Beverage & Culinary category. The position is based at the resort's location at 3030 Holiday Drive in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. The culinary associates will have access to Rouxbe’s online culinary school training, providing hundreds of well-designed, visually engaging lessons to enhance their culinary skills and immediately apply new knowledge to their daily work tasks.

The role is designed for experienced culinary associates, requiring at least three years of related work experience. The core responsibilities include preparing special meals, regulating cooking equipment temperatures, ensuring proper portioning and presentation, maintaining food records, and quality control. The culinary associate will be expected to communicate effectively within the kitchen team and coordinate with Food and Beverage service staff about menu specials and rejected items. Additionally, the position involves assisting management with hiring, training, scheduling, evaluations, and supporting colleagues to achieve team goals.

Well-versed in safety and hygiene protocols, incumbents are tasked with maintaining a clean, professional appearance and a safe working environment. Physical demands include standing, walking, reaching, and lifting items up to 25 pounds as part of daily duties. The culinary associate will play a critical role in upholding the resort's high food quality standards and enhancing the overall guest experience by anticipating and meeting their needs.
