This unique partnership leverages decades of experience and community engagement to provide comprehensive, tailored solutions that meet the diverse needs of clients nationally and locally. Known for its commitment to quality service, community involvement, and inclusive workplace culture, SodexoMagic positions itself as not just a service provider but a valued partner to its customers and employees alike.
The role of Cook II at SodexoMagic, based in New Brunswick at Bristol Myers Squibb, offers a full-time opportunity with a consistent weekday schedule and pay at $21.20 per hour. The Cook II position is more than just preparing meals; it’s about being part of a team that prioritizes food quality, customer satisfaction, and sustainability. As a Cook II, you will be responsible for preparing a variety of nutritious dishes for different meal periods including breakfast, lunch, dinner, and special catered events. Your duties will involve accurate portioning, cooking, and presentation of hot and cold food items, following recipes and product directions to ensure consistency and satisfaction.
This role expects the cook to be a proactive team member, actively supporting food waste reduction and maintaining a positive atmosphere with a warm, welcoming approach for customers. You will engage in food preparation that may involve operating an a la carte station or grill, and occasionally support management with daily operational oversight. Reliability and punctuality are essential attributes, as well as the flexibility to adapt to changing tasks and client needs. SodexoMagic fosters an environment where each employee’s contributions matter, encouraging collaboration and a shared sense of purpose.
Working at SodexoMagic means joining a company that not only values diversity and inclusion but is committed to creating a respectful and supportive workplace. The company embraces each individual’s unique strengths and encourages innovation and career growth. Employees benefit from a wide range of supportive workplace policies including ongoing training, development opportunities, and comprehensive benefits packages tailored to support you and your family’s wellbeing. Whether it’s medical, dental, vision care, or retirement savings plans, SodexoMagic ensures its workforce has access to the resources needed to thrive both professionally and personally.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Cook who is passionate about food service and eager to contribute to a dynamic and mission-driven organization. With SodexoMagic, your work will have a meaningful impact on the communities served, and your role will be supported by a company committed to excellence, equity, and employee satisfaction. Join SodexoMagic as a Cook II and help create memorable dining experiences in an environment that promotes growth, teamwork, and respect.
