The Cook II position at Sodexo, located at SSM St. Anthony Hospital, offers a full-time opportunity with a pay range from $18.00 to $22.32 per hour. The work schedule is primarily mornings with varying days, providing flexibility and balance. As a Cook II, you will be an integral member of a dynamic culinary team committed to preparing nutritious meals and reducing food waste, all while delivering excellent customer service. Your role will encompass the preparation, cooking, and presentation of a variety of hot and cold dishes for meal periods including breakfast, lunch, dinner, and special catered events.

This position requires a passion for food and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Attention to detail and adherence to food safety standards are essential. You may be responsible for operating grill stations and serving customers in an a la carte setting. Additionally, you might assist management with oversight responsibilities during regular business operations. Job Duties

  • Accurately and efficiently prepare, portion, cook, and present a variety of hot and/or cold food items for various meal periods including breakfast, lunch, dinner, and special/catered events
  • Read and follow basic recipes and/or product directions for preparing various food items
  • Prepare food and serve customers at an a la carte and/or operate a grill station
  • Support management in the daily oversight of key functions and employees during normal business operations
  • Attend work and show for scheduled shifts on time with satisfactory regularity
  • Adhere to food safety and sanitation standards
  • Perform other duties as assigned based on business necessities and client requirements
