This full-time Cook II position is based at UC Health Highlands Ranch Hospital, where the work schedule includes mornings with varying days. The pay range for this role is between 22.00 and 24.52 dollars per hour, offering a competitive wage within the healthcare food service sector. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 3 to 4 years of experience in related food service roles preferred
  • Ability to work morning shifts with varying days
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to follow directions and safety protocols
  • Physical ability to perform cooking duties
  • Reliable attendance and punctuality

Job Duties

  • Accurately and efficiently prepare, portion, cook, and present a variety of hot and/or cold food items for various meal periods including breakfast, lunch, dinner, and special/catered events
  • Read and follow basic recipes and/or product directions for preparing various food items
  • May prepare food and serve customers at an a la carte and/or operate a grill station
  • May support management in the daily oversight of key functions and employees during the normal course of business
  • Attend work and show for scheduled shift on time with satisfactory regularity
  • Perform other duties as assigned which may differ among accounts depending on business necessities and client requirements
