The role of Cook II at Sodexo within Hillcrest Medical Center is a full-time position offering a competitive wage ranging from $16.00 to $17.50 per hour. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 3 to 4 years of relevant cooking experience preferred
- Ability to work varying shifts with open availability preferred
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Punctuality and reliability
- Ability to follow recipes and instructions accurately
- Capable of supporting supervisory tasks during normal business operations
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- 3 to 4 years of relevant work experience preferred
- Strong team spirit and adaptability

- Basic knowledge of food preparation and safety standards
Job Duties
- Prepare, portion, cook and present a variety of hot and/or cold foods accurately and efficiently for multiple meal periods including breakfast, lunch, dinner, and special events/catering
- Read and follow basic recipes and/or product instructions to prepare various foods
- Prepare food and serve customers ordering a la carte and/or operate a grill station
- Support management in daily supervision of key functions and employees during normal business operations
- Attend work and report for scheduled shifts on time with sufficient regularity
- Perform other tasks as assigned which may vary between accounts depending on business needs and client requirements
