We are currently looking for dedicated culinary professionals to join our team as part of our food preparation staff. This role is essential to the seamless operation of our kitchens where fast-paced, high-quality culinary services are delivered. The position emphasizes safe, efficient, and proper food preparation methods to ensure customer satisfaction and health compliance. Your role will focus on efficiently managing your assigned kitchen stations — including grill, deep fryer, roasting, sauté, prep, and pantry — with keen attention to detail in food presentation and safety. Responsibilities include food seasoning, garnishing, and following chef directives to meet the highest standards of food quality and appearance. You will be responsible for estimating and requisitioning kitchen supplies and maintaining a clean and orderly station. The ability to set up and break down food stations and participate in kitchen closing procedures is also vital.

Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- previous kitchen or food preparation experience preferred
- compliance with Michigan Health Code for food safety
- ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- excellent teamwork skills
- flexible availability including nights and weekends
Job Qualifications
- Skill in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with staff
- ability to read, write, and communicate verbally in English
- ability to perform basic math
- understanding of safe food handling practices
- proficiency in managing multiple kitchen stations
Job Duties
- React to food orders in an efficient and proper manner, assuring presentations and procedures are being followed
- work the grill, deep fryer, roasting, sauté, prep and pantry stations proficiently
- estimate and requisition supplies from the receiving areas for service
- set up and break down all food stations in the kitchens
- season food, add garnish, sauce or vegetables as determined by the chef
- perform job combinations as necessary in the kitchen
- maintain kitchen cleanliness and good working order throughout the shift
- assure proper kitchen closure after each shift
