Job Description

Sheraton Dallas Hotel is a prominent hospitality establishment located at 400 Olive St, Dallas, Texas. As part of the renowned Marriott International portfolio, Sheraton Hotels & Resorts has a worldwide reputation for delivering exceptional guest experiences and fostering an inclusive, welcoming environment for both guests and associates. The hotel prides itself on being a global hub where travelers and locals alike come together to connect, create memories, and enjoy high-quality services. At Sheraton Dallas, the core mission revolves around providing outstanding accommodations, dining options, and event spaces to meet diverse needs.

This full-time, non-management position within the Food and Beverage and Culinary category offers a unique blend of hands-on culinary experience and professional development opportunities. Sheraton Dallas is partnering with Rouxbe Culinary School to provide associates with access to an innovative online training platform designed to empower culinary professionals by enhancing their skills and career trajectories. With hundreds of well-crafted, visually engaging lessons, employees of all experience levels can immediately apply new knowledge in their daily work.

The role is ideal for individuals passionate about culinary arts who desire to elevate their craft and contribute meaningfully to delivering exquisite dining experiences. This position invites culinary enthusiasts to harness their creativity, refine their techniques, and grow in a supportive, team-oriented environment. Employees receive comprehensive training and benefit from motivational leadership committed to their professional success.

In this role, culinary associates will prepare fresh ingredients, cook high-quality menu items in a timely manner, ensure proper food safety and hygiene, operate kitchen equipment responsibly, and maintain clean cooking surfaces and storage containers. The position requires attention to detail, teamwork, and a positive attitude. While prior kitchen experience is advantageous, Sheraton Dallas values dedication and a willingness to learn above all.

Associates enjoy a range of perks including hotel room discounts, merchandise, food and beverage discounts, learning and development programs, recognition initiatives, wellness programs, and camaraderie with motivated colleagues. Opportunities for growth are abundant, as the hotel encourages employees to challenge themselves and reach their highest potential while contributing to memorable guest dining experiences.

By joining Sheraton Dallas, employees become part of a global community that values diversity, equity, and inclusion. The hotel's inclusive culture celebrates varied backgrounds and experiences, making it a place where every individual can thrive professionally and personally. Working at Sheraton opens doors to international networks and dynamic career pathways within Marriott International's extensive brand portfolio.

This role requires the ability to lift and move up to 25 pounds, stand or walk for extended periods, and uphold a professional appearance in a clean uniform. Prior to employment, associates undertake safety training and certification to uphold the highest operational standards.

Sheraton Dallas is an excellent environment for culinary professionals eager to expand their horizons, collaborate with talented peers, and contribute to a dynamic hospitality experience that guests cherish. If you are driven by teamwork, passion for food, and creating welcoming experiences, this opportunity offers a rewarding career path where you can flourish and be your best self.
