The Cook II position at the Hazelden Fellowship Club, managed by Sodexo, is an on-call part-time role offering an hourly pay range between twenty and twenty-one dollars. This role is vital to delivering high-quality food services that meet the needs of the club’s members and guests. As a Cook II, you will operate within a team environment, focused on preparing nutritious and appealing meals efficiently while adhering to established recipes and food safety standards. Your role includes food preparation, portioning, cooking, and presentation across various meal times including breakfast, lunch, dinner, and special catered events. The position demands attention to detail, consistency in food quality, and the ability to work varying shifts including rotating weekends.

Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 3–4 years of related work experience preferred
  • Ability to work varying shifts including weekends
  • Strong communication skills
  • Reliable and punctual
  • Ability to follow food safety regulations
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Job Duties

  • Accurately and efficiently prepare, portion, cook, and present a variety of hot and/or cold food items for various meal periods, including breakfast, lunch, dinner, and special/catered events
  • Read and follow basic recipes and/or product directions for preparing various food items
  • Prepare food and serve customers at an a la carte and/or operate a grill station
  • Support management in the daily oversight of key functions and employees during the normal course of business
  • Attend work and show for scheduled shift on time with satisfactory regularity
  • Perform other duties as assigned according to business necessities and client requirements
