Job Description
Stanly Ranch, Auberge Collection, is an exceptional luxury resort nestled in the heart of Napa Valley, known as the resort of new Napa. Sprawled across over 700 acres of beautifully maintained vineyards and farmland, it offers a unique blend of natural beauty and sophisticated luxury in a serene setting. The resort includes 135 spacious cottage guestrooms and suites, each thoughtfully designed with outdoor terraces, fire pits, and sweeping views of the Mayacamas Mountains, creating an inviting atmosphere for relaxation and indulgence. Additionally, Stanly Ranch presents a rare ownership opportunity with a limited collection of exquisite three- to six-bedroom Vineyard Homes and furnished two-bedroom Villas, catering to guests who desire both the elegance of resort living and the comforts of home.
Beyond accommodations, Stanly Ranch encompasses a diverse array of amenities including Halehouse, an Auberge spa offering specialized treatments focused on wellness and rejuvenation, as well as three signature dining venues such as Bear, which celebrates local farmers and artisans with its farm-to-table culinary approach. Guests can also immerse themselves in the essence of wine country culture through unique adventures and experiential offerings that highlight the region's rich heritage and vibrant community. The resort pays homage to Napa Valley's 100-year history by seamlessly blending its ranching roots with contemporary luxury elements, delivering an approachable yet refined experience that captures the spirit of culture and cultivation.
The Culinary Artisan role at Stanly Ranch places you at the heart of its renowned culinary operations, where you will be an essential member of the kitchen brigade. This position invites both seasoned culinary professionals and passionate cooks to showcase their skills and creativity in producing memorable dining experiences for guests. The Culinary Artisan will master a variety of cooking techniques, from whole roasting and quick searing to sous vide preparations, demonstrating sophisticated expertise in protein cooking and minor butchery. Maintaining high standards of consistency, cleanliness, organization, and safety in the kitchen is a critical part of this role.
In this role, you will take responsibility for preparing mise-en-place for your station and ensuring smooth service execution with speed, accuracy, and proper temperature control for every dish. Collaboration with fellow kitchen staff is essential, promoting teamwork, communication, and efficient multitasking to deliver exceptional dishes. Adherence to Executive Chef standards regarding food storage, labeling, and rotation is mandatory to uphold quality and safety across the kitchen environment.
The position offers a starting pay rate of $22.50 per hour, with compensation commensurate with experience and education. This opportunity is ideal for professionals seeking to grow their culinary career within a luxury resort setting that values creativity, precision, and exceptional guest service.
