Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 2 years experience in healthcare or related food service
- Experience in quantity cooking
- Ability to follow recipes and production guidelines accurately
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation principles
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Physical ability to perform cooking duties and maintain sanitation standards
Job Qualifications
- High school graduate or equivalent preferred
- 2 plus years of experience in healthcare preferred
- 2 plus years of experience in quantity cooking preferred
- Knowledge of food safety standards and HACCP guidelines
- Ability to communicate effectively with team members
- Experience in training or guiding other employees is desirable
Job Duties
- Prepare, season and cook a wide variety of food items in appropriate quantities following menus, recipes and production sheets
- Maintain a clean and sanitary work area
- Communicate with other production staff regarding menus, recipes and portion sizes
- Provide training and guidance to other employees performing related work
- Adhere to HACCP, food safety guidelines, policies and procedures
- Utilize proper equipment to produce standard recipes
- Perform other duties as assigned
