Able to understand basic English and follow simple verbal directions
Intermediate knowledge of production and operations in kitchen areas
Familiar with proper use and maintenance of kitchen equipment and machinery

Job Duties

Prepare and present food items following specifications and accommodating special guest requests
Rotate food in coolers and freezers to minimize waste and spoilage
Maintain internal cleanliness of coolers and freezers to meet Health Department standards
Assist in ordering food supplies as directed
Direct and correct the presentation and portioning of food according to standards
Set up hot or cold line stations following specifications
Communicate guest requests to supervisors in a timely and professional manner
Promote and comply with all policies and procedures of Temecula Creek Inn
Report suspicious occurrences and hazardous conditions immediately
Maintain cleanliness and safety of work areas at all times
Practice safe work habits to avoid injury
Ensure compliance with safety rules and proper use of equipment
Attend all mandatory meetings as directed
Perform other tasks including cross-training as needed
