The position of Cook II at SodexoMagic located at SALUSCARE COLONIAL plays a fundamental role in the daily operations of preparing and serving nutritious, high-quality meals to various clients. This full-time role offers a pay range of $17 to $21 per hour and demands dedication and flexibility, as work shifts vary, and open availability is preferred. The Cook II will be more than just a preparer of meals; they become an essential team player in reducing food waste and ensuring customer satisfaction through excellent service and culinary expertise.
In this role, the Cook II is responsible for the accurate and efficient preparation of a variety of food items, covering different meal periods such as breakfast, lunch, dinner, and special or catered events. Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent preferred
- ability to work varying shifts including days and hours with open availability preferred

Job Duties
- Accurately and efficiently prepare, portion, cook, and present a variety of hot and/or cold food items for various meal periods including breakfast, lunch, dinner, and special/catered events

- prepare food and serve customers at an a la carte and/or operate a grill station
- support management in the daily oversight of key functions and employees during the normal course of business
- attend work and show for scheduled shifts on time with satisfactory regularity
