At Hazelden Fellowship Club, Sodexo is seeking a full-time Cook II to join their culinary team. This role operates on varying shifts, including days and rotating weekends, with a pay range of $20 to $21 per hour. As a Cook II, you will play a crucial role in preparing and presenting nutritious and appealing meals for a diverse clientele. The position requires proficiency in cooking a variety of hot and cold dishes across meal periods such as breakfast, lunch, dinner, and special catered events. More than just a cook, you are a food waste reducer and a team player who prioritizes customer service and the overall dining experience.

Responsibilities include preparing portions accurately and efficiently, following recipes and product directions, and operating grill stations or a la carte service as needed. You may also support management by assisting in daily oversight tasks during normal business hours. Punctuality and reliability are essential, and the role may include other duties assigned based on client needs and business requirements.   • Three to four years of related work experience preferred
  • Ability to read and follow recipes and product directions
  • Ability to work varying shifts including rotating weekends

Job Duties

  • Accurately and efficiently prepare, portion, cook, and present a variety of hot and/or cold food items for various meal periods including breakfast, lunch, dinner, and catered events
  • Read and follow basic recipes and product directions for preparing various food items
  • Prepare food and serve customers at an a la carte and/or operate a grill station
  • Support management in daily oversight of key functions and employees during the normal course of business
  • Attend work and show for scheduled shift on time with satisfactory regularity
  • Perform other duties as assigned based on business necessities and client requirements
