Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Prior experience working in restaurant, country club, hotel or senior living environment
- Basic knife skills
- Ability to operate kitchen equipment
- Familiarity with Point of Sale (POS) systems
- Willingness to obtain Food Handler certificate if not already possessed
- Valid and current driver’s license where applicable
Job Qualifications
- Prior experience within a high-quality restaurant, country club, hotel or senior living company preferred
- Basic knife skills
- Ability to handle kitchen equipment
- Use a Point of Sale (POS) system
- High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred
- Possess or be willing and able to obtain Food Handler certificate
- Must possess a valid and current driver’s license, where applicable
Job Duties
- Cook food according to safety and hygiene standards
- Assist in preparing all types of food while maintaining a safe, clean and sanitary work area
- Receive and stock deliveries using proper rotational practices
- Assist kitchen attendants as needed
- Maintain kitchen equipment and tools
- Ensure adherence to food safety regulations
- Collaborate effectively with kitchen and dining staff
