Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 2 years of experience in a cooking or food preparation role, preferably in a healthcare setting
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
- Ability to work Friday through Tuesday from 11am to 7:30pm
- Ability to maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
Job Qualifications
- Culinary degree or certification from an accredited institution
- Experience with special dietary needs and menu planning
- ServSafe certification or equivalent food safety training
- Ability to follow recipes accurately and maintain food safety standards
- Effective communication and teamwork skills
Job Duties
- Prepare and cook meals according to established recipes and dietary requirements
- Ensure all food is prepared in a safe and sanitary manner, following health and safety regulations
- Assist in menu planning and inventory management, including ordering and receiving food supplies
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient meal service and address any dietary concerns
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and dining areas, including proper storage of food items
