Job Description

We are currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Cook to join our Food and Beverage team on a full-time basis. This non-management position at the Renaissance Austin Hotel involves preparing ingredients, cooking food according to set recipes, and ensuring food quality and safety standards are met consistently. The pay rate for this role is $20.72 per hour. The ideal candidate will have at least one year of related work experience and a strong dedication to maintaining cleanliness and order in the kitchen.

In this role, you will be an essential part of a dynamic culinary team responsible for delivering high-quality meals to our guests. Your duties will encompass a variety of food preparation tasks including portioning, chopping, washing fruits and vegetables, measuring ingredients, and cooking food using ovens, grills, stoves, and fryers. You will ensure all foods meet the hotel's standards for taste, presentation, and safety. Additionally, maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of the kitchen area, utensils, and equipment is a critical part of your responsibilities.

Safety and adherence to company policies are prioritized in this position. You will be expected to complete safety training, report any maintenance needs or unsafe conditions, and uphold professional appearance standards.
