As a proud member of Alterra Mountain Company, Crystal Mountain aligns with some of the world’s most aspirational mountain brands, creating a community passionately dedicated to adventure and outdoor lifestyles. The resort is known not only for its phenomenal outdoor terrain but also for fostering a vibrant community and culture that emphasizes empowerment, authenticity, collaboration, and purpose, making it much more than a workplace—it's a mountain lifestyle and a place to grow professionally and personally.
Crystal Mountain is currently seeking dedicated and enthusiastic individuals to join as Cook I in their Food & Beverage business unit. This entry-level culinary position is essential to ensuring guests receive high-quality dining experiences through effective back-of-house (BOH) operations. The Cook I works within the dynamic and fast-paced culinary team, supporting key outlets and contributing to the overall guest satisfaction through adherence to recipes, safety regulations, and quality standards. This role offers employees the chance to develop their culinary skills under the guidance of lead cooks and executive sous chefs and to become an integral part of a team that prioritizes consistent food quality, sanitation, and a positive public image for Crystal Mountain Resort.
The Cook I position is eligible for employee housing and offers a competitive wage ranging from $21 to $23 per hour. It is a seasonal position that invites individuals eager to immerse themselves in mountain culture and hospitality. Employees enjoy the benefits of working in the largest ski resort in Washington, surrounded by stunning natural beauty and opportunities to play and explore. This job is ideal for those who wish to escape the city, enhance culinary skills, or pursue a career in the ski and resort industry.
More than just a kitchen position, the Cook I role at Crystal Mountain is about embracing the spirit of the mountains, contributing positively to a diverse and passionate community of adventurers, and growing within a company committed to excellence and sustainability in mountain recreation and hospitality. By joining Crystal Mountain, cooks become part of a team that prioritizes empowerment and collaboration, ensuring a supportive environment where personal and professional growth are encouraged and celebrated.
