Job Requirements
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule including weekdays, weekends, nights, and holidays
- Tuesday availability is a must
- Sufficient manual dexterity to use all kitchen equipment such as knives, spoons, spatulas, tongs, and slicers
- Ability to lift, push, or pull weights of up to 100 pounds
- Ability to stand for long periods and work in confined spaces with high noise and temperature extremes
- Ability to obtain any required local, state, or federal licenses or certifications
- Previous cooking or food handling experience helpful
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma preferred
- Previous experience in cooking, kitchen, restaurant, food handling, or fast food operations is helpful
- Knowledge of proper knife handling, cooking techniques, and kitchen equipment
- Ability to obtain local, state, or federal license or certification for sanitation, liquor service, or food service certification
- Manual dexterity to use kitchen tools
- Ability to lift, push, or pull weights up to 100 pounds
- Ability to stand for long periods and work in fast-paced, noisy environments
Job Duties
- Ensure high quality and presentation of food production
- Prep and cook food according to recipes
- Set up, break down, and maintain necessary knowledge of kitchen equipment and stations
- Perform necessary advance prep and read tickets to produce orders
- Maintain sanitation and cleanliness standards
- Keep the line and prep area organized, stocked, and clean
- Follow direction from management and assist in controlling food waste
- Perform additional tasks as assigned to support overall operations
