For those passionate about a culinary career, Hilton Salt Lake City Center is currently seeking a part-time Cook I to join their team at Spencer's for Steaks and Chops. This role is perfect for individuals who have a strong passion for the culinary industry and at least two years of experience working on grill and sauté stations. The position offers morning and evening shifts, providing flexibility to accommodate various schedules. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • At least two years of culinary experience in a similar role
  • Ability to work morning and evening shifts
  • Knowledge of kitchen safety and food handling standards
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Capacity to stand for long periods and handle physical demands of kitchen work

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum two years of line cook experience, especially on grill and sauté stations

Job Duties

  • Inspect and finalize plates to ensure quality and presentation standards
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, following food handling and safety protocols
  • Coordinate timing and plating during shifts, manage and direct cooks
  • Assist with inventory checks, ordering, and shift briefings
  • Comply with health, safety, sanitation, and alcohol awareness regulations
