Job Requirements

Job Duties
- Prepare special meals or replace products
- regulate temperatures of ovens, grills, and roasters
- defrost food by removing it from the freezer to refrigerate
- ensure appropriate portions, distribution, and garnishing of food
- keep food records
- monitor quality and quantity of prepared food
- communicate assistance needs during busy periods
- report excess food products to the chef for daily specials
- inform Food and Beverage service staff of rejected products and available specials
- ensure food product quality
- prepare and cook food following recipes, quality standards, presentation standards, and food preparation checklists
- prepare cold dishes
- assist management in hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, coaching, disciplining, motivating, and mentoring employees
- comply with safety and company policies
- report accidents, injuries, and unsafe conditions
- participate in safety training and certifications
- maintain clean and professional uniform and appearance
- protect confidential information and company property
- anticipate and meet guest service needs
- communicate effectively using clear and professional language
- cultivate positive working relationships
- support team to meet common goals
- respond appropriately to employee concerns
- ensure compliance with quality expectations and standards
- stand, sit, or walk for extended periods
- stretch, bend, twist, stoop, and reach above the head or below the knees
- move, lift, push, drag, and place objects weighing up to 25 pounds
- perform other reasonable duties as assigned by supervisors
