Marriott International is committed to fostering an inclusive and diverse workplace, promoting equal employment opportunities to all, and celebrating the unique contributions of each associate. The company prides itself on a culture where talent and passion are nurtured, providing employees with opportunities to grow and excel in the hospitality industry.

The Culinary team at The Ritz-Carlton Orlando Grande Lakes is currently looking to welcome a skilled Cook to join their food and beverage department. This full-time, non-management position plays a crucial role in the preparation and presentation of high-quality food offerings that meet the brand’s exacting standards. As a Cook, you will be responsible for preparing special meals, regulating cooking equipment, maintaining food logs, and ensuring portions and garnishes meet presentation guidelines. Your expertise will contribute to the delivery of a memorable dining experience for guests, maintaining strict attention to food quality and safety. Moreover, this role requires effective communication with other kitchen staff and the Food & Beverage service team to support smooth operations and guest satisfaction.

In this role, you will help maintain the high standards of The Ritz-Carlton by preparing and cooking food according to established recipes while adhering to quality and presentation standards. You will assist with the preparation of cold foods and manage temperature controls for ovens, broilers, grills, and roasters to ensure safe and proper cooking. Pulling food from freezer storage, monitoring inventory, and informing the Chef of excess supplies for daily specials are important daily activities. Additionally, you will support management in fostering a productive and positive team environment by assisting with staff hiring, training, scheduling, and motivating employees. Safety and security are paramount; you will be expected to follow all company policies and report maintenance or safety concerns proactively.

Working at The Ritz-Carlton Orlando Grande Lakes offers you an opportunity to grow in one of the world’s top luxury hospitality settings. You will learn and embody the brand’s Gold Standards, such as the Employee Promise, Credo, and Service Values that set the foundation for exceptional guest service worldwide. The Ritz-Carlton is recognized as a global brand leader in luxury hospitality because of its culture that promotes creativity, compassion, and excellence. Being part of this team means engaging with a diverse group of hospitality professionals who are dedicated to creating memorable experiences for guests while helping each other succeed. This position requires physical stamina to stand, walk, reach, and move objects up to 25 pounds. It prioritizes professionalism, teamwork, and a genuine passion for delivering quality culinary experiences. By joining The Ritz-Carlton, you become part of a prestigious global family with Marriott International that offers ample opportunity for personal and career advancement.
