The resort is currently seeking talented individuals for the role of a Cook to join the Elevations Restaurant kitchen team. This is a full-time, hourly position starting at $17.50 per hour, commensurate with experience, focusing primarily on PM shifts. The cooking role requires strong communication and culinary skills with an emphasis on delivering high-quality food in a fast-paced hospitality setting. Candidates with hotel cooking experience and a culinary degree are preferred, particularly those who can demonstrate a professional knowledge of cooking ingredients, procedures, and the ability to manage a single station independently with some supervision and training. The Cook will contribute to the resort’s reputation by preparing food that meets the standards of the 4-Star hotel and ensures guest satisfaction.

Job Requirements

  • Culinary degree or equivalent hotel cooking experience
  • Minimum of 2 years line cook experience preferred
  • Ability to communicate clearly
  • Basic cooking skills proficiency
  • Ability to handle a single cooking station
  • Must be able to work PM shifts
  • Physical stamina to stand for long durations

Job Qualifications

  • Culinary degree or related hotel cooking experience preferred
  • Minimum of 2 years of previous line cook experience preferred
  • Refined verbal communication skills
  • Ability to perform all basic cooking skills
  • Able to work independently on a single station
  • Strong desire to satisfy customer needs in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to stand for prolonged periods
