Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a professional kitchen or similar role
  • Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
  • Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
  • Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift heavy objects
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to manage and train kitchen staff

Job Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a cook in a hospitality or culinary environment
  • Knowledge of food safety practices and kitchen sanitation standards
  • Ability to execute complex recipes accurately
  • Strong leadership skills and experience managing kitchen teams

Job Duties

  • Prepare high-quality dishes according to designated recipes and quality standards
  • Manage guest orders efficiently while ensuring a positive dining experience
  • Maintain a strong knowledge of menu offerings and handle complex recipes
  • Oversee stations, execution, quality control, and inventory checks
  • Inspect all preparations and dishes ahead of serving to ensure quality and presentation standards
  • Keep food service stations stocked and sanitary while following food handling, storage, and safety protocols
  • Coordinate timing and plating, manage and direct cooks during shifts, assist with inventory checks, ordering, and shift briefings
  • Maintain compliance with health, safety, sanitation, and alcohol awareness regulations
