The Cook I position at Conrad Indianapolis is an exciting opportunity for a motivated culinary professional seeking to advance their career within a Fortune 500 company known for its prestigious luxury brand. The successful candidate will be part of a dynamic Culinary team focused on delivering high-quality dishes across multiple outlets and banquet events. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • previous experience in culinary or kitchen roles
  • availability to work weekdays, weekends, and holidays
  • ability to work in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment
  • knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and sanitation regulations
  • physical capability to stand for extended periods and handle kitchen equipment safely
  • strong teamwork and communication skills

Job Duties

  • Prepare menu items according to designated recipes and quality standards
  • manage guest orders efficiently while ensuring a positive dining experience
  • maintain strong knowledge of menu offerings and oversee stations, execution, quality control and inventory checks
  • inspect all preparations and dishes to ensure quality and presentation standards
  • keep food service stations stocked and sanitary while following proper food handling, storage, and safety protocols
  • coordinate timing and plating, manage and direct cooks during shifts, assist with inventory checks, ordering, shift briefings and special features
  • maintain compliance with health, safety, sanitation, and alcohol awareness regulations
