The role available at The Ritz-Carlton Dana Point is a non-management, full-time position within the food and beverage sector, offering a pay rate of $32.35 per hour. This position is located on-site at the prestigious 1 Ritz Carlton Dr address and is integral to maintaining the brand's famous "standards of gold." As part of this role, you will be responsible for preparing special meals, ensuring the proper temperature regulation of ovens, grills, and rotisseries, and managing food portions and presentations according to the highest quality standards. Additional duties include thawing frozen foods properly, keeping accurate food records, and monitoring both quality and quantity of food prepared each day.

You will play a key role in communication by informing kitchen and food service staff of rejected products, available specials, and any assistance needed during peak hours. The position requires attentiveness to food safety regulations and company policies, maintaining cleanliness and professional appearance, and protecting proprietary information. The role also involves some physical demands such as prolonged standing and the ability to lift and transport items weighing up to 25 pounds.
