As a Banquet Kitchen Cook specializing in the cold side, the candidate will be responsible for preparing various cold food items with precision and efficiency, maintaining the highest standards of quality and presentation. Key responsibilities include portioning, chopping, washing, peeling, and storing fresh ingredients such as fruits and vegetables, ensuring food safety, and following recipe and preparation guidelines meticulously. The cook will operate various kitchen equipment such as ovens, stoves, grills, microwaves, and fryers, actively monitor food quality, and ensure all food items are cooked and prepared to exacting standards.
Attention to cleanliness and organization is critical, as this role involves regular washing and disinfecting of kitchen areas, tools, knives, and equipment. The cook will also perform safety checks on kitchen appliances and food temperatures to guarantee compliance with health and safety standards. Strong teamwork skills are essential, as the position requires active collaboration with other kitchen staff to meet common goals and deliver exceptional banquet service. The role also demands physical stamina, including extended periods of standing, walking, and the ability to lift and move items up to 25 pounds.

Job Duties
- Prepare ingredients for cooking including portioning chopping and storing food
- Wash and peel fresh fruits and vegetables
- Weigh measure and mix ingredients

- Operate ovens stoves grills microwaves and fryers
