This opportunity is for a Food and Beverage professional based in Bellevue, Washington, at the address 200 110th Ave NE. The role is full-time and non-management with a competitive hourly wage of $29.23. As part of Marriott's team, you will be integral in maintaining the highest standards of culinary quality and guest satisfaction. The position involves preparing special meals, regulating kitchen equipment temperatures, managing food portions and presentation, as well as monitoring inventory and food quality. Additionally, the role requires proactive communication with kitchen leadership and food service teams concerning specials and rejected products.
The employee in this role will assist management with hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, disciplining, motivating, and coaching staff, serving as a positive example. - Education diploma from a technical, trade, or vocational school
- minimum 3 years of related work experience
- no supervisory experience required
- no license or certification required

Job Duties
- Prepare special meals or replace products
- regulate the temperature of ovens, grills, and roasters
- remove food from the freezer to thaw in the refrigerator
- ensure proper portions, distribution, and garnishing of food
- maintain records of food items
- control the quality and quantity of food prepared
- communicate any needed assistance during busy periods
- inform the chef about excess food products for daily specials
- notify food and beverage service staff about rejected products and available specials
- ensure the quality of food products
- prepare and cook food according to recipes, quality standards, presentation standards, and food preparation checklists
- prepare cold dishes
